Divinely playing Blechacz turned Chopin

Those who several months ago heard Lang Lang playing Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in the Concertgebouw and now juxtapose it with Blechacz`s performance can reach only one conclusion: Lang Lang was playing Chopin but Blechacz had become Chopin.

The technique, the perfect stroke, extreme virtuoso transitions - there's no need to go on at length about it. It speaks for itself (...). His rubato was absolutely extraordinary - it represented the pure spirit of Chopin`s music.

All in all, it was an exceptionally beautiful interpretation of Chopin.
